Who we are

A pan-African newsroom, founded in 2026

What: The View Africa publishes news and analysis across five sections: Politics & Policy, Culture & Identity, Business, Innovation and Diaspora.

Why: We launched with a simple conviction: that global media too often fails to capture the complexity, vibrancy and diversity of African societies, and that the voices of ordinary Africans are too often missing.

Where: We publish online at theview.africa for readers across Africa and the diaspora.

How: We report from public records, official data, on-the-record interviews and credible published sources, and we link to our sources. Our full standards are in our editorial standards and corrections policy.
